Set in 2009, Trauma Kuntilanak tells the story of four students who are working on a horror documentary as their final assignment. The four students try to work on a story about a strange phenomenon in a housing complex where their friends have rented a house for the past few years. The complex has a rule, where no resident is allowed to leave because it is considered to disturb "Them" who are going around the complex.
